My birthday is tomorrow and I haven’t even thought about what to do, where to go, or anything! It’s been such a crazy month and I realize, a good movie, a glass of wine, and pajamas might just have to be the plan for my Saturday night! But that’s okay, I get to see some girlfriends for dinner tonight and I’m looking forward to it. Today I decided to wear two of my favorite things: sequins and leather. It may be a bit much, but I couldn’t even tell you how fun it was to wear this out for a day of shopping.
Happy Friday to you all!

I’m not trying to make anyone feel bad, but the weather in LA is not winter weather-at all! 85 degrees and sunny! I don’t really enjoy summer clothing but I decided to splurge this and get some warmer weather clothing. I bought this fun romper mainly for the adorable ruffles on the bottom.
Sorry once again for the stereotypical backgrounds! I’ve been so busy I either a) am rushing to be somewhere b) I forget to take pics when I’m actually out! I promise to try to be more creative soon .
Romper: Kaitlyn Boutique, “Lenny” sandal: c/o ShoeDazzle (get them here).
I can’t tell you how excited I am to write this post. I was given a dream (a small one) to get eyelash extensions from the M Day Spa and I couldn’t be happier. I’m a sucker for layers of mascara, falsies and anything that boost my eyelashes and make them more va-va-voom! I was greeted by the owner and an employee with such open arms. The salon is quaint and very home-y. I felt like I was going to my best friends house for a girl’s spa day!
I was informed about the eyelashes and how long they typically last and hearing about it made it even more exciting for me. I was taken to a cozy room where I was shown the various kind of lashes. You can choose various kind of curls that best fit your lashes. Each letter corresponds with a more obvious curl: j, c, b. You can also choose thickness that best fits with your natural lashes. The ranges are .15, .18, .20 and .25. You also have the option of silk or mink lashes. Silk tends to be shinier whereas mink are more matte.
I can’t complain about my service, it was exquisite and I would highly recommend them. They looked natural and they lasted me a good month!
BEFORE extensions (with mascara)
AFTER EXTENSIONS (no mascara):
Here are some images from the blog and just some fun ones where I have NO mascara on!
If you are interested in eyelash extensions you can call for information and pricing. I don’t normally do beauty posts or promote anything unless I truly, truly feel that it’s worth sharing.

This is one outfit I wore when I was in Istanbul. While over there I went to the Kapali Carsi (Grand Bazaar) and purchased a lot of neat goodies. In this outfit post, I am wearing a jade green python clutch and a leather jacket I bought from there. The prices are so amazing, the clutch, which you could find on SALE for $1,000+ cost about $200. The lambskin leather jacket with gold hardware cost me $400. All genuine leather and python. My best friend and I went bananas at the prices, she bought about six clutches in an array of colors. I seriously wish I had more time to go explore more and more and buy a bunch of other things!

Happy 2014! My trip to Istanbul was amazing and before I make some posts about it, I’m sharing a quick outfit post. I arrived back to LA on the 9th and have been in majorly jet-lagged sleeping at 9 pm almost every night! Of course, I couldn’t idle for long as I was back to work immediately!
Today’s my last day in LA, I leave for a few hours to head on over to Istanbul. I am so excited to see family, my friends and my best friend who is flying in from Saudi. I am also looking forward to blogging my travels and doing some fun outfit posts while there. You can follow me on Instagram (@LeFashnMonster) for daily pictures of places I’m visiting, what I’m wearing and other goodies!
Okay, I made a pun-ny title (oops, I did it again!). Today’s post was inspired by the thigh-high trend. I’ve been struggling to find a way to incorporate the trend into my wardrobe so I was happy I finally put together an outfit I love! I know it’s a little school-girl but what can I say…
Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas
I leave to Turkey on Thursday and can’t wait to do some posts from there!
One of my favorite times to shoot for the blog is during the “golden hour”. The light is so beautiful and it makes everything shine. I don’t know what it is, but the those 20-25 minutes just make me feel at peace. It makes me feel whole, beautiful and all I want to do is smile.
Today’s look is rather exotic. I wanted to try something somewhat 80′s but still make it chic and slightly modern. I paired some neoprene high-waist pants with a velvet crop top and a silk hot pink blazer. My friend Tori (check out her faboosh blog) and I decided to play with the sunlight and the rays to capture some images. I hope you enjoy the images as I enjoyed shooting them.
Last night I went to a holiday party for the old boutique I used to work at and I couldn’t find a top I liked in my closet, so…I went to my mom’s closet and found this amazing sheer grommet detailed top. Naturally, it was black (I promise, some more colorful posts are coming). I loved the new leggings I got too, they have a fun motorcycle appeal to them but most of all, I just loved a reason to get dressed up. I apologize for the lack of scenery in my posts, I’ve been taking pictures quickly and haven’t had time to plan anything out, but I’m working on it . Happy Saturday!

I know some of you may be a little envious right now, but the weather here is beyond perfect! I had to put some color on to keep day shining bright. I apologize for the lack of photos, but it was a very quick “outfit of the day” post I created on Instagram (follow me @LeFashnMonster) and I wanted to share it on the blog as well.
