New Video: Sexy 70’s Waves

I don’t know about you, but that new song by Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars “Uptown Funk” has got me seriously time-warped back to the disco days. That song has been jam for the past two weeks and to be honest, I think I’ve listened to the song at least 100 times already. What can I say? I love a good beat!

Today’s tutorial is all about sexy 70’s waves. I’m still getting used to the whole YouTube world, so bear with me! I hope you guys enjoy this hair tutorial and don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE!

Videos that are on their way to my channel include: Slicked Back Hair, Daily Makeup Routine, February Favorites, How To Put On Fake Lashes, How to Fake Big Lips, and a lot more! Stay tuned!

Oh, and remember, hair is on of the first things people notice and these sexy 70’s waves will surely get you noticed. The great thing about this hairstyle is that IMMEDIATELY after, I just couldn’t stop flipping it and shaking it and feeling like I was in an Herbal Essences ad. Just sayinnnnn, this look may bring our your inner disco diva!

Happy Monday!

Hope you guys had a fantastic weekend! This weekend was super chilly here in Los Angeles! We have been spoiled with 80 degree weather most of February and yesterday we got ourselves some much needed rain. This means I got to go through all my winter coats and decided on which one would make the cut! I don’t have too many winter coats or any winter items really, but this Apricot coat from SheInside has been a piece that’s been waiting for me to put it on.

Alas, in all her glory, this amazing neutral winter coat is the perfect color for any outfit combination you rock. It’s easy to match and it’s super cozy! I love a cozy winter coat, so hopefully you guys love this style and color as much I do. A good coat is super hard to find, especially one that’s under $50!!!!!

denim on denim

Denim is one of my absolute favorite things to wear. A denim jacket, denim skirt, denim shirt…you name it, I’ll rock it! There are so many different variations of denim that make it such a versatile fabric. No matter what you wear denim as, it’s always a great piece to add your look.

Today’s look is one of my personal favorite pairings; denim on denim. A denim on denim look is super easy to rock and super comfortable. When trying to achieve a denim on denim look, make sure your denim somewhat matches, not too much, but if you’re wearing light denim, opt for a light wash denim shirt. However, if you’re wearing white denim, you can sport any color denim as a top, and vice versa.

Today’s outfit is definitely one of the most comfortable looks I’ve ever rocked and I have to say, I’m pretty much obsessed with this activewear line called LolΓ«. Everything about this look is from them (except for the shoes). The cozy cardigan is so incredible and soft, the joggers are like butter and ultra comfortable, and the top is basically my new go-to. I am pretty sure I need this top in every single color because I can’t stop wearing it. Another amazing thing, this entire look is on sale and you can shop it below (scoooreeeeee)

New Video: AskDeniz

Hey guys! Last week I asked you all via Instagram to ASK.ME.ANYTHING!

I took together all your questions and selected a few to answer (blindly!). All questions are answered without knowledge of what they are and you guys can see a part of my personality thats just….ME!

We talk about my pet peeves, embarrassing moments, and basically see how goofy I am in real life.

Sometime’s we see only so much via Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and of course, blogs, so I hope this show you that beneath the clothes, I’m a big dork face.

camel coat vibes

Guys…it’s MONDAY! I can’t believe how fast the weekend has come and gone and I think we should all have four day weekend all the time, right? Sheeesh!

Last week was super crazy for me and I can’t even tell you how happy I was to basically be lazy this weekend. Friday I had an awesome meeting with one of my favorite online retailers and this is what I wore!

You’ve seen this camel coat a few times on the blog, and let me tell you it’s one of my absolute favorite pieces in my closet. A classic coat is essential, and to have black, gray, white and camel should be something you invest in. The colors are transitional and a great coat can be worn year-round.

This is a look thats easy to transition from day to night. I love the color balance of camel, black and white. The stone heels add a little bit of personality to the otherwise polished look. Oh, and of course, I had to throw on my fringe bag too :). I’m a sucker for little excess sometimes!

denim romper

Happy ThursdayΒ everyone! What a week, yowza! Yesterday I had such a fun time with some fellow blogger babes at a luncheon at Daily Dose Cafe and WHAT A BLAST! With such a crazy schedule, it’s hard to make time to see my babes who also blog. We all support each other and it’s so nice to see women empowering other women. What and/or who empowers you?

For the luncheon, I wore this adorable denim romper from Private Cartel (it will be available online soon) paired with a funky fringe bag and my favorite sunnies that gave me a super 70’s vibe!

I’m a sucker for the seventies, I love the big hair, flare, fringe, basically…anything goes! This denim romper was super comfortable to wear too because it was very lightweight. I don’t normally wear rompers because I have SUCH Β a long torso, but thankfully this one fit me perfectly. Hallelujah!

A great way to rock a denim romper is with neutrals. I went with a brown palette but black is also a very popular color to pair this look with as well. Remember, when rocking anything denim, keep it FUN!
