Birthday Week!

Hello hello!

This week I celebrated my birthday and I have to say it was possibly the best birthday ever. Actually, it was! I don’t know what happened, but I have never felt happier than I have this year, especially during my birthday. I’m not one to make a big deal of my own birthday, but I do love planning other people’s birthdays. I was pleasantly surprised to see how amazing my friends are in making me feel ultra special. A special shout out to my one of my soul-sisters and fellow blogger Sazan (you have check her blog out, she’s AMAZING) and my one of my closest friends Maryam (she’s an amazing painter, she her work here) for truly putting together a week of celebrations that I can never forget.

On Sunday, Sazan planned a cozy get-together and game night in her home with some of my closest friends. She even cooked my favorite meal, tacos! It was so special mainly because she created a heartfelt video of my friends wishing me a happy birthday and saying some of the sweetest things I’ve ever heard. I was in tears because I have never had someone do something so genuine and from the heart. It was seriously so touching and I’m getting choked up thinking about it. I will post the video when I get it too, because honestly, it was just magical.

On Monday, January 25th, my actual birthday, two of my closest friends took me to Disneyland. It was such a great time going on rides and being at the happiest place on earth. I have to say, I’m totally geeking over all the Star Wars themed rides, especially Space Mountain!

On Thursday, my friend Maryam took me the store opening of an amazing designer Galia Lahav where I basically oohed and aahed over every article of bridal and non-bridal gowns. After, she decided to blindfold me and I truthfully didn’t think twice about anything except maybe she was going to take me to a new restaurant I had mentioned or something. Let me say, trying to walk into a building without sight, is challenging…and I was freaking out.

When she took the blindfold off, I saw several of my friends screaming “Happy Birthday”. I have to say, I was truly shocked and it was such a surreal moment. I ended up in second place out of ten, so my competitive self was suuuupppperrr happy. <3

Here are some images of the week, unfortunately, I didn’t document much for the blog, but fortunately, I enjoyed the moments.
