flamenca

This past weekend was on of my dearest friends birthdays, Sayran. She’s my soul-sista from another mista! She recently launched her own jewelry line too which is super exciting! I always find it so admirable when people chase their dreams, and take those risks. It’s super amazing and I love to support my friends on their dreams. She’s a sweet soul with a creative talent and her pieces are so her! I want to quickly link her shop here so you guys can see! Please check her store out 🙂 You can see her goodies here.

For her birthday we had a surprise 80’s themed birthday party hosted by other sister from another mister, Sazan. These girls are truly one of a kind and I’m so fortunate to have crossed paths with them and become our own little Los Angeles family.

On Tuesday, we went to the Ivy, a local Los Angeles eatery that looks like a french country cottage with American fare. It’s one of my favorite places for coffee, the food is good, the prices, a little high, but the ambiance is just so epic, it almost doesn’t matter.

I decided to play up the beautiful day with pops of color, yellow shorts and a bold lip. I did some side-swept hair and an off shoulder top, and I felt like a total flamenca. I absolutely loved it. One of my favorite trends is an off shoulder top. I love how this can be implemented in a top or dress. Let’s just say you’ll be seeing a lot of off shoulder goodness on the blog this coming season 🙂
