I don’t typically go for rompers, but I couldn’t the resist the flower power of this one! I love the girly print and paired this romper with some nude heels that had a little personality to add some edge. I can’t believe it’s almost August and that it’s almost Fall! I hope you’re all having an amazing day <3.
A quick outfit post today! Today was all about experimenting with textures and patterns. The quilted leather shorts, the cotton crop top and the bold white/black blazer
I’m still on the hunt for the perfect LWD (Little White Dress) but I’m completely in love with ivory. Until I can lay out and get some color too, Ivory gives my complexion a little color, so I’m not too sad I haven’t come across my LWD yet. I love the simplicity of the tunic and it’s one of the most comfortable items I own. It’s light and easy and can be worn with a basic ballet flat, or a fun lace up bootie like the one’s in today’s post.
Oh, and want to hear something amazing? I’M DONE WITH SCHOOL TODAY! Well…I have to go kick my psychopharmacology final at 3 pm first, but then…a whole month off- from school. I started work this month at the counseling center and I’m looking forward to finishing my training and seeing some clients. Once I start, the mini dresses and crop tops might be scarce on the blog! But don’t you worry, I’ll still add some edge to my more polished looks. In the meantime, I’m going to post as much as I can.
I’m sure y’all have noticed that pink has been one of my go-to colors this season. Today’s post is no exception. When I first received this dress, I fell out of my chair. Three reasons why: 1. It’s pink! (duh), 2. I love the unique sweetheart top and off shoulder details, 3. It fit like a fairy tale.
This particular dress and color really had me feeling like a real-life Barbie. So, I just owned it. Nothing wrong with a little pretend, right?
My fellow blogger babe, Sazan Barzani and I were in the middle of creating a Cinderella moment for me when we were told we weren’t allowed to take pictures. Le sigh. But alas, here are our pics!
This weekend I went to my boyfriend’s step dad’s daughter’s wedding and it was such a blast! Funny thing is, I had nothing to wear until the morning OF the wedding. Leave it to men to tell you ONE week in advance (I started work last week and have finals). Regardless, I had the best time dancing, drinking and eating. My favorite part of the wedding was seeing my boyfriend all dressed up!
With black and white being a major trend this spring/summer, I felt this dress was ideal. It was still classic with a nice edgy twist. Of course, to add more of my personality, I had to wear these lace up heels to complete the look.
I just want to dedicate this post to my fellow blogger babe Chanelle of the Penelope Times. She dressed me for today’s post and to be honest, as out of the box as this look is for me, I have never had more fun or felt more confident. I don’t exactly know why, but something about the stripes, the crop top and the big white frames that just made me feel amazing. I hope you guys enjoy this look as much as I enjoyed wearing it!
In honor of Chanelle’s 90′s vibe, I titled this post after her. Pretty fun, right?
Being able to branch out of my comfort zone and just have fun is something I really enjoy doing. Being a full-time graduate student and now MFT Trainee, my time is so limited and playing dress up and goofing off in front of the camera allows me to have a few moments to myself.
Skirt: H&M, Crop Top: ASOS, Shoes: c/o ShoeDazzle.
I’ve been a long-time lover of pink, and this pink blazer has been a staple in my wardrobe for two years. Today I wore it with one of my favorite dresses and my new shoes I bought to celebrate my start of my training in become a Marriage and Family Therapist. Sorry for the short post, but I have to rush to class .
Dress & Blazer: Zara, Shoes: Saint Laurent
Once again I joined forces with my favorite photographer to collaborate with Eric I Gonzalez. Together we have created some really fun editorial style images to give the blog a more unique feel. With being a full-time graduate student, I rarely have enough time to scout for locations and shoot, so I make do with my home. I love taking these editorial style images because it allows me to get creative and actually produce some incredible art with Eric.
For this post, I partnered with Sports Chalet and my Cross Fit gym, Crossfit Array. Sports Chalet let me pull some amazing looks from various brands such as Nike, Reebok Crossfit, Under Armour and Adidas. A big THANK YOU to Sports Chalet and Crossfit Array for making this possible.
Previous posts done with Eric can be viewed after the images.
There is nothing more summery than layering on the neon! I’m such a sucker for candy colored hues and today’s post is all about it. So prepare to smack your lips, or should I say, excite your eyes with this juicy and sweet look. I love pink and yellow together, the two colors just make me smile. See my past yellow + pink color blocked look here.
I’ve never been much of a T-shirt of tank top girl but ever since discovering Hips & Hair, I’ve become wildly obsessed (see my previous post with their shirts here). I paired this low cut tank with my quilted leather shorts and added some sexy heels from ShoeDazzle. Normally, I’d wear this top with some cut-off’s but I wanted to show a way to wear a tank for a night out.
