There is something about neutral hues that just look exceptional when paired with bold colors. One of my personal favorite color combinations is hot pink with camel. They balance off each other so beautifully and definitely create something super eye-catching.
Here’s another series of images from my shoot with Eric I. As you can tell, it’s definitely different than the usual images we post. I’ve gotten a lot of requests to change up my hair and so we came up with something drastic (for me!)…a bun! We played with the Parisian chic elements of the dress and created this awesome images.
Dress: Forever New, Heels: ALDO
I am so excited to share another set of images shot by my favorite photographer Eric I. We did three looks and today’s post is something special to me. We shot as dusk and using a flash we were able to create this super saturated and iconic images. I hope you guys enjoy these!
There’s something about neon that seems to keep coming back season to season. These neon pumps were my go-to shoe for a fun-filled Sunday Funday and they definitely got me noticed! I kept the rest of my outfit fairly simple to keep the shoes as the major work of art for this outfit.
If you don’t follow me on Instagram yet, please do! My username is @LeFashnMonster. I recently discovered an awesome Instagram called @InstadorableChicks. I have to say, they have been super supportive of my blog and they always put a smile on my face. They sent me this awesome tank and I couldn’t be happier to wear it! Be sure to check out my Instagram and theirs as well!
Oh, and can we talk about my newest shoe obsession? Just take a look!
Is it normal to base an outfit on a pair of shoes? Sometimes. Today’s look is just one example how a pair of shoes can totally inspire an outfit. These amazing heel-less shoes were given to me by ShoeDazzle (check them out!) and I instantly got butterflies. They’re not a shoe I’d typically choose but I am obsessed with not only their visual appeal but also the comfort. I’m a big fan of ShoeDazzle and have many shoes from them so being able to rock their beautiful designs just makes my days even better.
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and I’m not gonna lie…I’m totally feeling like a school girl in love. I’m all about mushy and cheesy everything on a daily basis so this holiday just makes me want to be extra cute. I don’t know what I’ll do this year but I couldn’t ask to spend it with anyone better!
Alright, now onto what’s really important…my outfit! Haha. With the holiday coming up, I’ve been testing the waters with cute & feminine pieces! This forever 21 marigold pleated skirt has been my favorite this season and with spring around the corner, a fun color block had to happen. Bumblebee on top and a little spice on the bottom .
Sorry about the quality of these…it was almost sunset so I had to use a brightening filter :/
I had the awesome opportunity to visit the Gypsy Junkies showroom this week. I can’t even tell you how excited I was to meet Lauren & Alexandria. Here’s a funny story…we starting spamming each other with likes on Instagram and finally decided the three of us should meet. I came, we met, we had lots of fun and the rest is history!
Anyhow, Gypsy Junkies is an awesome brand that will allow you to bring out your inner gypsy. Let’s just say I have a secret desire to be a bohemian gypsy princess…(it’s our little secret). With florals always in style for Spring, it’s no surprise I fell in love with blazer. Dress it up for Spring with white and you’re good to go!
Pantone has announced “Emerald” as the color of the year for 2013. I have to say, this jewel tone is one of my favorite. A jewel tone hue and gold are one of my favorite color pairings! A gorgeous purple and gold, orange and gold, burgundy and gold, and of course, emerald and gold.
