Fringe

I am so excited to share this new collaboration with amazing natural light & family photographer Leyna Ambron of Yellow Heart Photography. Leyna  is such a talented photographer with a unique vision. She manages to capture moments that we may not be able to see and her energy is indescribable, just like her talents. Together we did a test shoot, and for a quick unplanned shoot, we managed to create something beautiful. She took a normal day and made it into an indescribably beautiful editorial. Thank you Leyna for taking the time to shoot with me and create these beautiful images.

Please check out her site here. Leyna specializes in family photography, so if you’re looking for a local Los Angeles based photographer for pregnancy shoots, family portraits, baby images, or even engagements, I would highly recommend her.

Below are my favorites, but to see Leyna’s top picks she her feature on this shoot on her site here.

Enjoy the images & please comment below. Feedback is always inspiring!

Little Bad Girl

I’m not one to typically wear very sexy pieces, and if I do I usually cover one or the other. This outfit was inspired by Gwen Stefani. Her awesome ability to make crop tops look effortless and chic just made me want to take a stab at it. Hopefully you guys like it! I know it’s a little different than my usual attire, but I’d love your feedback on this one!

I also want to apologize for the quickie posts and very Instagram images (I have some shoots lined up & am working on amping up the blog more). Thank you for still being awesome followers and feel free to email me with any tips, or just to say HI! LEFASHIONMONSTER@GMAIL.COM

Pink Jean Baby

I’m obsessed with colored denim, and regardless of the season a bold denim is always fun. I chose these hot pink beauties to wear with one of my favorite colors: Navy. The casual vibe of a denim can be dressed up by rocking a pair of fabulous heels. This outfit is something I’d wear on a “casual” day. For those who don’t know me, I’m pretty bad at dressing casually…but hey…I’m trying!

Black & Orange

There’s something about this color combo I love, and I tend to drift toward it quite often. I was so excited when Michael Stars approached me to collaborate and one of the pieces they sent was this awesome sequin camisole. The matte sequins allow this piece to be worn during the day and to transition beautifully into night. I hope you enjoy this outfit!

Birthday Weekend

Turning __ (a lady never tells) was the best birthday I’ve ever had. Not only was I completely surprised by my boyfriend (who took me on a surprise weekend to Palm Springs) but also I was able to just relax. Words can’t really explain how fantastic and special this birthday really was.

I had a full day at school and after class we drove to Palm Springs, stopped for some delicious Chinese food on the way, and then listened to some cool live music while sipping on some delicious cocktails. The next day, we went to this place called Pinocchio’s and had bottomless champagne. After, we spent the day in the hot tub relaxing followed by a delicious dinner and some bar hopping through the town.

Hope you enjoy my images!

Birthday Look

Here’s a quick outfit of the day!

First, thank you all for the amazing e-mails/comments! I had such an amazing birthday! Thank you!

I wore this dinner last with my family & boyfriend. We went to Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills (my absolute favorite) and had such a lovely time. My next post is a quick trip detail about my quick getaway my boyfriend surprised me with. Can’t wait to share!

Birthday Neon

This year I wanted to try a trend I’m not too familiar with…neon. I went to a very 80′s Miami Vice style look with sharp colors and took a risk to use a bright white to highlight my neon jacket.

I figured why not challenge myself this year with new trends? Last year for my birthday I went with a simple lace babydoll dress so this is definitely a change from my typical classic style.

Ride or Die…Lady

I love to make edgier pieces more feminine. That’s exactly what I chose to do for today’s quickie outfit post. With the weather being so lovely and warm here in LA I couldn’t help but break out my summer heels. These from Zara were my staple last Summer and I’m pretty sure they’ll be making a comeback this summer.

Stay tuned for a lot of new projects up on the blog!

Shake, Shake, Shake Señora

I must say, I have had this fringe skirt for quite awhile but couldn’t figure out how to put an outfit together that wasn’t so obvious (ex: denim shirt). As I started to rummage through my wardrobe, I found this bodysuit. Then…it struck me.

This is what happened.

And I had a lot of fun shaking what my momma gave me in this skirt!
