This weekend I went to my boyfriend’s step dad’s daughter’s wedding and it was such a blast! Funny thing is, I had nothing to wear until the morning OF the wedding. Leave it to men to tell you ONE week in advance (I started work last week and have finals). Regardless, I had the best time dancing, drinking and eating. My favorite part of the wedding was seeing my boyfriend all dressed up!
With black and white being a major trend this spring/summer, I felt this dress was ideal. It was still classic with a nice edgy twist. Of course, to add more of my personality, I had to wear these lace up heels to complete the look.
Happy New Year to all of you! Thank you so much for your support & love! This blog is something I work so hard on & am so grateful for all of you. I appreciate & love you each and every one of you. Hope you all have a WONDERFUL New Year 2012!
This New Year my boyfriend & I did an impromptu trip to San Francisco. We’re both lovers of the city, but with 24 hours until the New Year, we were stumped. So we packed as fast as we could and started our drive up from Los Angeles to San Francisco. My boyfriends friend allowed us to stay at his house, and it’s been lovely. So thank you Brad!
For New Years we had dinner at one of my favorite hidden gems in San Francisco; Plouf. It’s in the Belden International Food Court, a tiny alleyway with strung up lights and festive cuisines. It was amazing. I will post my pictures below after the outfit. I also was so happy to finally see one of my good friends this year while visiting, so we met him in Chinatown at Buddha Bar, then my boyfriend and I celebrated the countdown in the middle of the road in Chinatown. It was amazing.
In fashion related news, I got to wear my 2b by bebe sequin tank dress that I have been dying to wear. As the weather the was cold, I put on black tights & a faux fur jacket that was a Christmas present from my boyfriend.
Now pictures from the night…& you an shop my look below

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
What did you do this New Years Eve? Tell me below in comments
This past Sunday I attended the TwoPointOhLA Snowball that was held at the beautiful Palihouse in West Hollywood. Sporting my sexy tan from Chocolate Sun, my dazzling Sole Society silver stilettos and my Lulu*s dress, I felt like a million dollars. My extraordinarily handsome boyfriend came with me (such a good sport) and was the perfect arm candy!
At the event, there was a gifting suite being held which allowed me to take home some pretty nifty things! The sponsors this year were truly…perfection.
Lulu*s.com was probably the sponsor I was most excited to see, after all I was wearing their dress! They also had a Wheel of All Things Amazing (as I call it) where each person spun and received a surprised! I won an item off their rack of glittery, silky, and chiffon pieces and my boyfriend won a %40 off card! This just made my Christmas even better!
It was truly a magical night!
What I wore ( It’s an outfit post & event post in one today!):
I wore my navy dress from Lulu*s.com because I love it more than words can say. I originally bought it for my graduation, but due to wearing a cap and gown, the dress never got to be in the spotlight like it deserved to be. The most awesome part about this dress is that it is reversible. The sexy back can be a sexy front…and wow…it was sexy. I opted to wear it “sexy back” style in order keep my look toned down. I put on my new silver bow heels, some funky jewels, and my sequined clutch.
This past Friday was my boyfriends office holiday party at J restaurant and lounge in downtown Los Angeles. I was very excited to go as it was a themed party, and I always love having a reason to dress up! My fellow blogger and friend Sydne Summer let me borrow her super adorable fringe dress that she wore recently to another roaring 20’s (You can see the fabulous way she wore it here.)
I definitely took inspiration from her, with the red lipstick and sequined clutch. I added a multi-layered pearl necklace, added suede red pumps for more color, and threw on a leopard faux-fur jacket to give my look a modern and edgy twist.
Also, I have linked my exact or similar items so if something sparked your interest, just click on the link! Hope you enjoy this new feature on the blog!
The party was so much fun, and I had such an amazing time!

Last Tuesday I was invited to the fun & fabulous Two Point Oh! LA Pre Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW) party and it was definitely a fete to remember. The event was incredible from start to finish and I was lucky to enough to meet some new bloggers in the community as well as meet incredible entrepreneurs!
You can imagine my surprise when I walk into the event that the first thing I hear is that Sole Society was giving away a free pair of shoes. As a shoe collector (It’s unhealthy, but I have a proud collection), my tongue was wagging like a dog. My treats are shoes, so the correlation is there. I literally couldn’t even grasp reality for a split second, FREE SHOES? Yes, there really is a place called “Shoe Heaven” & Sole Society are the “Shoe Gods”.
The shoes I got to take home were the ‘Lila’ and they reminded me of the Gucci color-block which I die for.
After having a shoegasm, my friends and I proceeded to the bar, which was sponsored by Clos du Bois wines. Thanks to them, my glass was half full all night ;).
Also a special thanks to the fabulous girls of Daily Buzz-Style! The website is amazing, so please check it out! The site boasts personal style updates from independent publishers and it’s one of the most inspiring sites I’ve come across!
Sadly, I had a crisis with the images I took, so all the following images are thanks to the wonderfully talented Felix Foto of LookBookLA! Thank you!

This event was so amazing, and thank you to Two Point Oh! LA for bringing the blogging community together & giving us all wonderful opportunities!
Last Friday I was one of the lucky and blessed bloggers to attend 2b stores’ blogger lunch. The 2b team was incredibly generous and such a pleasure to meet with. The 2b team and bloggers met at the Farm restaurant in Beverly Hills where we enjoyed a delicious and fresh lunch and two platters of sumptuous cookies and brownies. My fellow TwoPointOh LA! bloggers and I headed back to the 2b store on Beverly Dr to style mannequins based on our personal style, which I blog about later.
It was such an amazing day meeting the creative team behind this feminine, sexy, and classy brand. The team is very inspiring and their passion is visible not only by their demeanor but of course, the success of the brand.
First let me say that I am so grateful to be a member of Two Point Oh! LA. This community created by Kelsi Smith, is filled with inspiring bloggers within the Los Angeles area. The events thatTwoPointOhLA create are one-a-kind and an excellent way to network and explore new concepts of fashion and the fashion world.
Thank you to my awesome boyfriend for coming and taking all the pictures.
I met some incredible new people as well as re-connected with some bloggers who I had met at a previous TwoPointOhLA event a few weeks back.
I was pretty unsure of what to wear, and after rummaging through my closet like a fashionista maniac, I remember I had bought a dress specifically for a Turkish-American Ladies League event. The event I was supposed to wear it to got cancelled, so I finally jumped on the chance to rock that frock!
Here’s a funny, and awkward side story:
When I first arrived, I didn’t see any signs of an event. Also, I was invited to a different event, which I declined but never really read WHERE the event was being held in the first place. As I stood by the entrance to the hotel, I hear some ask me “Party nerede?” which is “where’s the party?” in Turkish. Being Turkish, I understood. I replied it was inside. I wondered why she KNEW I was Turkish, and just assumed she followed my blog and had one too.
I walk into the hotel and go to the general bar area by the pool which was filled with people. I heard excitement, laughing, talking, and TURKISH! I had stumbled into the wrong event, the event I had declined to attend, which was a Turkish-American Networking event for those living in Los Angeles….awkward.
All of a sudden, a plethora of people start saying my name and coming up to me. I look at them flabbergasted, “Where am I?”. I see my parent’s friends and I know…this is NOT the TwoPointOhLA pre-fashion week party.
I say some hello’s, answer “Where are your parents?” about five times, and excuse myself.
I must find fashionistas!
I scurry along to the hotel reception and tell them of the party I came here to attend. Apparently, I had to pass the pool par, go through a gate and it was in a subset of the pool bar, a private bar called Rick’s Place. I worked out my red soled shoes and bolted to the event and alas…I see glitz, glamour, and inspiration- my fellow bloggers!
