Whatever you are doing today/tonight I hope you spend it with people you love. Although I believe in displaying love on a daily basis, I have to say that sometimes it’s nice seeing all the love during this day. Anyhow, enjoy this day of love! I know I will
Valentine’s Day is around the corner and today’s post is a look dedicated for that special night. As much as I don’t really care for Valentine’s Day (I think showing love and appreciation randomly and often is much more exciting than a day where everyone and their mother gets flowers and chocolate), I still decided to make a post (well, two- one later). Regardless, I hope everyone has a great Valentine’s day! There is never a bad day for love.
Alright, as much as I love the idea of ridin’ dirty on a Harley, I probably wouldn’t be able to maneuver one. I have rode on a bike, so fun! Today was casual and I really miss being casual. I’m always working so slacks and button up’s have been my uniform. Now that it’s the weekend I can play! I love these motorcycle leggings so much, I am so happy I got a chance to wear them again. I’m a sucker for a loose denim shirt and white tank. It’s so “hipster” but hipsters don’t have big blonde hair, so I can pull this off without feeling too trendy.

I’m not trying to make anyone feel bad, but the weather in LA is not winter weather-at all! 85 degrees and sunny! I don’t really enjoy summer clothing but I decided to splurge this and get some warmer weather clothing. I bought this fun romper mainly for the adorable ruffles on the bottom.
Sorry once again for the stereotypical backgrounds! I’ve been so busy I either a) am rushing to be somewhere b) I forget to take pics when I’m actually out! I promise to try to be more creative soon .

This is one outfit I wore when I was in Istanbul. While over there I went to the Kapali Carsi (Grand Bazaar) and purchased a lot of neat goodies. In this outfit post, I am wearing a jade green python clutch and a leather jacket I bought from there. The prices are so amazing, the clutch, which you could find on SALE for $1,000+ cost about $200. The lambskin leather jacket with gold hardware cost me $400. All genuine leather and python. My best friend and I went bananas at the prices, she bought about six clutches in an array of colors. I seriously wish I had more time to go explore more and more and buy a bunch of other things!

Happy 2014! My trip to Istanbul was amazing and before I make some posts about it, I’m sharing a quick outfit post. I arrived back to LA on the 9th and have been in majorly jet-lagged sleeping at 9 pm almost every night! Of course, I couldn’t idle for long as I was back to work immediately!
Today’s my last day in LA, I leave for a few hours to head on over to Istanbul. I am so excited to see family, my friends and my best friend who is flying in from Saudi. I am also looking forward to blogging my travels and doing some fun outfit posts while there. You can follow me on Instagram (@LeFashnMonster) for daily pictures of places I’m visiting, what I’m wearing and other goodies!
Okay, I made a pun-ny title (oops, I did it again!). Today’s post was inspired by the thigh-high trend. I’ve been struggling to find a way to incorporate the trend into my wardrobe so I was happy I finally put together an outfit I love! I know it’s a little school-girl but what can I say…
Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas
I leave to Turkey on Thursday and can’t wait to do some posts from there!
One of my favorite times to shoot for the blog is during the “golden hour”. The light is so beautiful and it makes everything shine. I don’t know what it is, but the those 20-25 minutes just make me feel at peace. It makes me feel whole, beautiful and all I want to do is smile.
Today’s look is rather exotic. I wanted to try something somewhat 80′s but still make it chic and slightly modern. I paired some neoprene high-waist pants with a velvet crop top and a silk hot pink blazer. My friend Tori (check out her faboosh blog) and I decided to play with the sunlight and the rays to capture some images. I hope you enjoy the images as I enjoyed shooting them.
Last night I went to a holiday party for the old boutique I used to work at and I couldn’t find a top I liked in my closet, so…I went to my mom’s closet and found this amazing sheer grommet detailed top. Naturally, it was black (I promise, some more colorful posts are coming). I loved the new leggings I got too, they have a fun motorcycle appeal to them but most of all, I just loved a reason to get dressed up. I apologize for the lack of scenery in my posts, I’ve been taking pictures quickly and haven’t had time to plan anything out, but I’m working on it . Happy Saturday!
