Hope you’ve all had a safe fourth of July weekend . Mine was very relaxing and it felt good to be mellow and productive. Lots of reading eating for me! Today’s look was from last weekend. I bought this cream skirt from Zara and thought it was such an elegant piece. I opted for a sequined top add a different texture as well as keep the neutral color palette. Nothing like sparkling at night .
Today’s post is a bit more casual than normal. I recently bought this skirt and fell in love with the colors. I figured I could do any color as a top to keep it bright but opted for a fun lightwash denim blouse. I also have found a pair of “flats” (okay, they have a small heel to them) that I am obsessing over. They are so comfortable and go with practically anything.
The past month has been extra hectic, and I sincerely apologize for the constant lack of posting as of late. I’m trying to juggle my career and blogging simultaneously but sometimes it’s get really challenging after long work weeks to take pictures and get dressed up. Also, when I do, it’s usually too late to take a picture or I just completely forget. I do post almost daily to Instagram (@LeFashnMonster) so be sure to check that out when you can.
Anyhow, I do hope you all have been having a lovely start to the summer. I’m slowly getting ready for my trip Istanbul, Turkey in early August!
Today’s post was all about having fun. I was actually inspired my side swept full bangs today so decided to play off them. I know it’s a little menswear retro, but sometimes it’s fun to really just dress up.
Okay, it’s not really the new black, but the T.V is show premiering it’s new season this week…and for that, I’m happy! I know it’s been awhile, but it’s been one roller coaster of a month. As much as I love fashion and blogging, the mental health field is where my career and future lies. I have working toward building my name in the mental health community and working through getting my intern number and bulking up on clients to get my 3,000 hours done so I can open my practice within the next two years.
Anyhow, I’ll be posting more often though. I do miss the excitement of dressing up and not wearing suits all day!
I can’t help but sing that song non-stop and for some reason if I were in the country, I’d wear this. It may be too dressy but I don’t care. I’m really loving denim jackets and cream colored dresses. It’s so simple but still has a personality. I paired the two basics with a bold clutch and some fun lace-up heels.
Happy Monday ya’ll!
I’ve been on the hunt for unique and comfortable leggings that don’t break the bank and that don’t “look” like leggings. Thankfully my search is over and I am excited to share with you this brand that will give you legging heaven! Evleo is a brand that is fast-growing and one of my personal favorites. Their leggings are so chic and comfortable and reasonably priced. Definitely check them out, you’ll thank me later.
My personal favorite are these white snakeskin beauties! You’ll see a lot of posts with them, I don’t think I can take them off!
P.S I’ve teamed up with Evleo to giveaway 2 tickets to Coachella (Weekend 2). Wednesday’s post will have the contest details! So exciting!
I’m not usually one to wear too much color, so going all in on one color was a risk for me! I will admit that I absolutely love this color and this style. Two piece looks I love to wear but sometimes finding pieces that just work well is hard, luckily this set from AMI CLUBWEAR came together and fit like a glove!
There’s something about baggy jeans, and baggy sweaters that I love to wear. I know these trends are called the boyfriend/ex-boyfriend jeans and or sweaters. Today’s post I chose to wear an oversized sweater with some denim cut off’s. The brand of the sweater is Actual Pain (I’m obsessed with them) and they have such unique items. I also love the make this relatively casual look a little chic-er, by adding some pointed toe heels (I suck at being casual).
Sweater: Actual Pain (get it here), Shoes: Saint Laurent, Sunnies: Ray-Ban & Prada (I didn’t know which looked better ).
So today’s post is a little over-the-top. I know there are a lot of images, but I’m obsessed with this dress. I never wear maxi dresses, but pairing it with some sexy red heels and a leather jacket made this dress wearable for me. I also had a little goofy-fun doing pull-ups on a tree…I’m still a little childish .
Dress: ANGL, Shoes: c/o Shoe Dazzle (get them here), Leather Jacket: Custom from Istanbul, Sunnies: PRADA, Clutch: Gifted from my BFF.
Happy Sunday folks!
It’s been a busy month or so, and finally things are starting to settle down. The weather here in Los Angeles is so wonderful, it’s not blazing hot this weekend! Although the weekend went by too fast, I can’t wait to start working again. As odd as it sounds, I like being busy, busy, and sometimes, weekends bore me (am I crazy?). Anyhow, hope you all have had a great one!
