Casual Friday with 10th Tribe

Let me start this post off by saying I am completely obsessed with 10th Tribe. If you haven’t yet checked them out, please do so. Their originality, quality and their vibe is something that definitely makes every customer feel special. I will be featuring them as often as I can because their edgy attitude is perfect to spice up the blog.

I’m not normally a denim girl and dressing casual is always a challenge. So this is my take on casual. A utility jacket, ripped denim and unbuckled buckles on my shoes just made me feel free. Sometimes it’s fun not being so put together all the time.

Green, Orange & Blue

I’m a total color block fiend! As you know, it’s one of my favorite ways to make my outfits stand out. Today’s outfit is no exception. Green, Orange & Blue were my go-to colors for this look. I paired it with a neutral heel to help balance the look. Here’s something to remember, try to keep colors to 3 max otherwise it could look a little over done.

Earth Tones

Today’s post is quick as i’m in the midst of finals! I’ve been really feeling earth tones this week, olive in particular. Although the images the blouse comes off a little black, it’s a deep olive that is just so beautiful to wear. I paired this top with white shorts and my favorite Zara sandals (I wish I bought 100 pairs of these). Anyhow, don’t mind the quick-poses and thoughtless backgrounds! Happy Wednesday!

3 Tone Friday

Happy Friday! This is a quick outfit post as I am amidst finals right now. This is what I wore to school today! I’m seriously loving these tri-color wedges from ShoeDazzle and I based today’s outfit around them! Hope you’re all having a happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend!

Gone With The Wind Fabulous

Alright, I know this posts title is from the infamous Real Housewives of Atlanta, but I couldn’t resist. The winds in Los Angeles have been pretty strong so it’s been hard to take proper outfit pictures. I apologize in advance for the lack of creativity in this post! But alas, I had to post something :) . I’ve had this blazer for almost a year and sadly have given it little use. Today I chose to play off the blazer’s knitted colors; red and black. Enjoy!

Life in Plastic, It’s Fantastic.

Today’s look was inspired by Barbie. Not exactly in the way you may think, but I loved the concept of a retro yet modern day Barbie. Thank you to Gypsy Junkies for this amazing hot pink shorts suit and to Shop Norka for the sexy white bodysuit that just added the perfect amount of edge to this look. For those who are going to Coachella this weekend, this outfit would be perfection…just add a flower crown.

Reflective

Any chance I get to work with Gypsy Junkies, I will take. They are hands down my favorite brand to work with for several reasons. One being the team: Marcus, Lauren & Alexandria. This dream team are quite possibly the coolest and sweetest people I’ve ever met. Two: Their clothing is perfection. Every item is a stand out piece and easily wearable. I can’t even explain how in love I am…I guess you’ll just have to see with the posts that will be on the blog!

Let’s talk about this EPIC blazer…I can’t even wait to wear this bad boy every day (I probably will). It’s so colorful and can add instant fierceness to a monochromatic look (like today’s post) or be the perfect statement piece in a color block look.

Oh, and I love how coincidentally my sunnies (the reflective part) totally went with my blazer.

Pleats & Prints

You may remember this printed dress that I wore as a top from last weeks post (see it here). I have to say, I like it much better as a top than a dress (but I promise to post the dress version on Instagram, follow me: @LeFashnMonster). I wanted to add a big and bold dash of color and for some reason I’ve been all over yellow. The color reminds me of sunshine and happiness, which is probably why I’m so drawn to it :) .

Fun Friday

You may have remembered this bodysuit (one of my favorite items in my closet) from a previous titled Shake, Shake, Shake Señora (click to see). That also may have been my favorite post of all time! Anyhow, I decided to take it out of my closet once again and this time paired it with a sleek pencil skirt. It’s still playful and sexy without showing too much skin. Enjoy!
