Guys…it’s MONDAY! I can’t believe how fast the weekend has come and gone and I think we should all have four day weekend all the time, right? Sheeesh!
Last week was super crazy for me and I can’t even tell you how happy I was to basically be lazy this weekend. Friday I had an awesome meeting with one of my favorite online retailers and this is what I wore!
You’ve seen this camel coat a few times on the blog, and let me tell you it’s one of my absolute favorite pieces in my closet. A classic coat is essential, and to have black, gray, white and camel should be something you invest in. The colors are transitional and a great coat can be worn year-round.
This is a look thats easy to transition from day to night. I love the color balance of camel, black and white. The stone heels add a little bit of personality to the otherwise polished look. Oh, and of course, I had to throw on my fringe bag too :). I’m a sucker for little excess sometimes!
Happy Thursday everyone! What a week, yowza! Yesterday I had such a fun time with some fellow blogger babes at a luncheon at Daily Dose Cafe and WHAT A BLAST! With such a crazy schedule, it’s hard to make time to see my babes who also blog. We all support each other and it’s so nice to see women empowering other women. What and/or who empowers you?
For the luncheon, I wore this adorable denim romper from Private Cartel (it will be available online soon) paired with a funky fringe bag and my favorite sunnies that gave me a super 70’s vibe!
I’m a sucker for the seventies, I love the big hair, flare, fringe, basically…anything goes! This denim romper was super comfortable to wear too because it was very lightweight. I don’t normally wear rompers because I have SUCH a long torso, but thankfully this one fit me perfectly. Hallelujah!
A great way to rock a denim romper is with neutrals. I went with a brown palette but black is also a very popular color to pair this look with as well. Remember, when rocking anything denim, keep it FUN!
Hey guys, I hope you’re all having a cheery week thus far! I’ve been so busy trying to organize everything for the weekend (I know, it’s only Monday) but there are so many things planned that I had to get an early start. Early bird gets the worm, right?
Anyhow, I recently got these super comfortable silk joggers and I basically want to live in them all day. Which is exactly what I did…last Thursday! I also straightened my hair (and immediately curled it that night), but it was fun living the straight haired life for several hours.
I paired these silk joggers with a loose top and some jewelry I designed in Turkey (they will be available for purchase on Private Cartel soon, eeeek!!!). There is something exciting about creating something unique and being able to share it with the world. It truly is an amazing feeling!!

Black and camel are two of my favorite color combinations, duh. I’m pretty sure at this point you guys know that, buttttt…ta-da! Here’s another outfit with that combination. I’m seriously crazy over this super cool black and camel jacket. When I ordered it, I ordered a medium because I have long arms, however, the medium fit like a small. But…that didn’t stop me for wearing it! I love how fun this jacket is and I especially love the strap details on the arms. I got this on a random website (thanks Facebook ads) called rosewe.com (you can get it here). Nothing makes me a happier than a black and camel outfit. So simple.
When styling a color block jacket, it’s best to keep the rest of the outfit simple. Since the black and camel jacket is the staple, keeping the neutral color palette allows you get edgier with shoes and your jeans without being an eye-sore. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Sometimes a great pair of jeans and an easy plaid top is the perfect outfit of the day. There are days where I get suuuuuper lazy and just grab a pair of skinny jeans and a blouse with a print and call it a day! Today’s look is just that. I just got these amazing jeans last week and have been dying to wear them. I love denim that’s ripped on the knees!! I tossed this plaid shirt on and my favorite pointy pumps and bailed to go run my errands for the day. Let’s just say, I didn’t complain about a thing! Plaid and denim all the wayyyyyy…
Also, if you didn’t notice, I dyed my hair! I was so tired of doing my roots and wanted a color that was warmer and easier to maintain. A huge thank you to Bianca Hillier of Sally Hershberger LA. Girl made my locks super amazzzeeee!!

There is nothing more comfortable and cozy than an off-shoulder oversized sweater dress. This gray sweater dress is from Missguided and it’s become and instant favorite. It’s soft, fits perfectly, and makes me feel like I’m bundled up :). I wore this cozy little number for a coffee run with my friend at my new favorite coffee spot; Alfred Coffee in Los Angeles.
Although the over-the-knee boots may be much to some, you can pair this gray sweater dress with a pair of cute flats or ankle booties…or if you really want to dress it up, a sexy black or nude pump! I’m a sucker for all things cozy and this outfit is exactly that! Now…where’s my hot cocoa??
There is nothing more classic than a striped shirt and good pair of skinnies! This simple look is my go-to when I’m in a bind of what to wear and can’t put together an outfit as fast as I’d like. It’s comfortable and stylish, so it’s really a win-win. There are just some of those days where all black, or just solid items can feel so monotonous. A striped shirt is a great way to keep my favorite color palette of black and white while adding something different to it.
I paired my favorite skinnies with these amazing faux-suede booties from JustFab. There is nothing more comfortable than good denim and comfortable boots! What do you guys think? How would you wear a striped shirt?
