coffee coat

Even though Winter is leaving us fast, I’m still digging my outerwear. I am throwing it on every chance I get and with living in L.A, temperatures can go from 80 degrees to 60 degrees (freezing, brr- just kidding!). This amazing coffee colored coat is from SheInside and it’s under $50 (get it here)! I paired it with charcoal denim and my leopard heels. This particular color is one of my favorites because it’s such a rich color and adds instant warmth to your face.

The great thing about this hue is that it’s also quite transitional, add some neon or anything on the neutral spectrum and you’ll have a super chic look.

Myne OH Myne

Sorry for not posting in awhile guys, my silly face went on a bad website (NOT THAT KIND) and got a horrible virus on my laptop where it basically stalled me and spammed me with pop-ups for the past two weeks. Alas, AppleCare pulled through and saved me $200! So back to blogging and boy do I have some GREAT posts coming up for you guys :)

Today’s look is one of my favorite dresses from Myne. It’s been seen on Kim Kardashian and comes in a plethora of colors. I chose this navy blue because navy to me is one of the chicest colors. I paired this dress with cognac brown to balance it out. I love navy with white, browns and silver. You could go either way with this.

A silky dress like this is perfect year-round. Great in the summer with sandals and great in the winter with boots.

It’s March ya’ll! I have so many exciting things to share with you guys! First off, the blog is going to get a makeover (yay!). It’s going to get a fierce new look and I can’t wait to unveil it to you guys! Second, my YouTube channel (don’t forget to subscribe here) is getting a makeover too and lots of new videos will be made so stay tuned for that!

I’ve also been working on perfecting some of my photos for you guys. I’ve partnered with my amazing friend who makes amazing movies (check his epic work out here) and together will be focusing on taking better images for you guys.

Blogging has been a huge part of my life the past few years and this past year I have been pushing extra hard to create a space that’s fresh and fun for you. Thank you for following me along the way, it means so very much to me.

Today’s post was a day spent on the carousel :). I love to do things that bring out my inner child and this photo shoot was no exception. I wore my favorite high-rise skinny jeans from YMI and my favorite yellow neon blazer from Forever 21. A neon blazer is a fun statement piece when you want to dress up or add a little pop of color to a basic look. I’m also really feeling the whole mule trend, however, these unfortunately were not as comfortable as other shoes I own. My new mission is to find a great pair of mules.

stripes and denim

It may not be Spring yet but I couldn’t help but pretend like it was yesterday. I was playing dress up with a fun boutique in Encino and I came in wearing layer and walked with this. This super fun knot front striped top paired with this super light wash denim and basic black pumps is a perfect go-to Spring outfit. Stripes and denim is a quintessential look for every season! It never goes out of style and just by changing the wash of your denim, you can truly make this transitional.

Stripes and denim are two essentials in my closet. I have oodles of denim in practically every wash and bajillion striped tops. Whether they are long-sleeve, short-sleeve, or blouses, they consume my wardrobe. I definitely can’t complain nor can I say I don’t have any classic pieces.

Cinderella Moment

Thanks to Disney and quite possibly one of my favorite movies of all time, Cinderella, I got majorly inspired to create my own Cinderella moment. I did a fun sponsored post on Instagram (@LeFashnMonster) for Disney to help spread the word of Cinderella coming into theaters soon (March 13th!) and had to share this photo with you guys because I have never done such a fun photo. Thanks to my dear friend Maryam for allowing me to feel like Cinderella in her lovely dress and to one of my favorite people ever (who also has been shooting my photos and doing my videos) Raphael for taking the time to get up wayyyy early on a Saturday and shoot this photo for me ( and edit it, you can check out his STELLAR work here).

Are you excited about Disney’s Cinderella to come out? I know I am…although if I had to list my favorite princesses in order they would be: Aurora, Ariel, Jasmine, Belle, and Cinderella. Just sayinnnnn

black and camel

Black and camel are two of my favorite color combinations, duh. I’m pretty sure at this point you guys know that, buttttt…ta-da! Here’s another outfit with that combination. I’m seriously crazy over this super cool black and camel jacket. When I ordered it, I ordered a medium because I have long arms, however, the medium fit like a small. But…that didn’t stop me for wearing it! I love how fun this jacket is and I especially love the strap details on the arms. I got this on a random website (thanks Facebook ads) called rosewe.com (you can get it here). Nothing makes me a happier than a black and camel outfit. So simple.

When styling a color block jacket, it’s best to keep the rest of the outfit simple. Since the black and camel jacket is the staple, keeping the neutral color palette allows you get edgier with shoes and your jeans without being an eye-sore. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
