I don’t usually post about my weekends, but after spending most of it coding and re-designing the site (and adding the SHOP feature), I felt like a kid in the candy store actually leaving the house this past Sunday. I went to the Lovers & Friends sample sale (left-empty handed) but just being out and enjoying the perfect weather in L.A was all I needed. It’s been over 100 degrees here and quite unbearable, however Sunday was 75 & breezy. The week is hopefully going to go well but juggling blogging, my career as a therapist & finalizing the last minute operations for my up-coming online store, Private Cartel, I’m exhausted!
Anyhow, I just want to thank you all for your constant support. I know I’ve been pretty off/on with blogging, but because of you I’ve really realized how passionate I am about it. It’s my creative outlet. Tell me, what do you do get your creative juices flowing?

Happy Friday folks!
I am so happy to be back to blogging more full-time. With school done and being well-adjusted back into work, I am able to prioritize blogging and really get my creative outlet going again. It’s been a busy week but I can’t complain since I hate being idle. However, I’m really excited about the weekend because it’s going me & Netflix all night long tonight. Oh, you may have noticed that Le Fashion Monster got a face lift, but if you go to the home page, I added a tab called SHOP so you can shop some of my favorites pieces I’ve found online, as well as products I’m wearing.
Today’s post is one of my personal favorites, I found this turtleneck crop (amongst my drawers and drawers full of black tops) and I had to immediately throw it on. I paired the top with my favorite pants ever (believe it or not, they make me look like I got a booty! Total win with these) from Evleo.
I also am obsessing over these Shoedazzle “Yves” heels. They not only look very expensive, they are super comfortable. I trotted around town for 9 hours in these babies. True story.

Last night I invited to the Juicy Couture x Kohl’s event at one of LA’s most unique homes; The Sheats Goldstein Residence. Overlooking the city lights of Los Angeles while sipping white wine, listening to tunes & mingling with some of my other fellow bloggers, I was able to experience the excitement of this pretty epic collaboration. I loved the floral wall embellished with Swarovski crystals & the cool idea of InstaPrint. InstaPrint prints Polaroid-like stickers based off a certain hashtag: #JuicyKohls. You can go on Instagram (follow me @LeFashnMonster) and search the hashtag for more images from the event.
I didn’t take an outfit post because I came straight for work (I’m a Marriage & Family Therapist) & didn’t have time to change. Read more
So much to share today, my online store Private Cartel is in the final stages of launching and I’m so excited! We shot our menswear lookbook yesterday and will be doing product this week. As a sneak peak, today’s post is mainly from the store. It’s definitely a summer inspired look, but there will be a lot Fall pieces as well. My family is finally coming back from vacation and I get to see them, so it’s a really exciting weekend! I hope you’re all having a fantastic weekend as well

I won’t lie…I love Barbie. It represents my childhood perfectly. I recall dressing up my Barbie’s and being their “therapist” by having them tell me their problems that I always seemed to solve with the simplest answer…if only life’s problems were that easy to solve! Pardon my random thought, but to get the real juice about this post is that Barbie has collaborated with Forever 21! I was lucky enough to get an invite to the launch at the Forever 21 location in Santa Monica, CA.
It was a super pink event, and so much fun. Pink carpet, Barbie nail station, ice cream sandwiches, a DJ and a photo booth. Oh, and of course important thing, Barbie’s pink car was parked right outside. I know I sound like a little girl, but hey…it’s Barbie!
The real highlight of the night was Ken! I mean, there he is supporting Barbie’s career and not complaining…the perfect man right?
Enjoy the photos from the event! Be sure to follow me on Instagram: @LeFashnMonster & search the hashtag #BarbieLovesF21to see images from other’s about the event.
Only four more days of Istanbul left but it’s okay…I actually miss work a lot. I miss my clients, my friends & most of all, driving! I never drive here (the traffic and drivers are ridiculous!) so I’m excited to get behind the wheel. Today’s look is very monochromatic and golden hues are some of my favorites to wear. There is something about the olive/gold combo I can’t seem to get enough of. Hope you’re all having a lovely summer as well :).

Another post, another lovely day in Istanbul. I’ve been spending so much time with family, it’s going to be so hard to leave them this Sunday. However, instead of thinking of the sad, I’m enjoying the present. I hope everyone is having a lovely summer as well. Today I saw both my grandmother’s and then went shopping with my family at this amazing shopping center called Zorlu Center. It’s a mixture of super high-end and affordable boutiques.

I’m in Istanbul and as always having an incredible time! I spent the first week at a resort called Hillside Beach Club so I wasn’t able to really take any outfit pictures since I practically lived in a bikini (not complaining). I’m finally back in Istanbul seeing family & friends and I couldn’t be happier. Last night I went to happy hour and dinner at the new hotel The Grand Tarabya. I’ve watched it be built for several years and was happy to be able to experience it in it’s newly re-modeled glory.

Summer is just beginning for me and I wanted to let you all know I am launching an online store come late September/ early October. It’s called Private Cartel and we will be selling mens and womenswear as well as accessories for both. We are having a pre-launch sale event this Sunday and if you’re in LA come stop by!
Be sure to sign up on the site for a friends & family promotion when we go live! In the meantime, here’s today’s post
Hope you’ve all had a safe fourth of July weekend :). Mine was very relaxing and it felt good to be mellow and productive. Lots of reading eating for me! Today’s look was from last weekend. I bought this cream skirt from Zara and thought it was such an elegant piece. I opted for a sequined top add a different texture as well as keep the neutral color palette. Nothing like sparkling at night :).
